Dear On Holiday Participants,

This email was sent to users with the following roles: conference admin

Hello everyone, I trust your summers are proceeding well and that people are looking forward to getting together in a few short weeks at our first ever On Holiday. As the date draws near, I want to take this opportunity to make sure my registration list is accurate. I realize that some people registered early on in order to see who else was coming, but are not actually planning to come. I also realize that circumstances can change, and some people are not able to make it to this years' vacation. Bummer! With that in mind, if anyone is not planning to come, or needs to cancel, please let me know this week, as I will be giving our final numbers to Lakeside soon, and drawing up a contact list to hand out when we arrive, and it would be good if that list were accurate. Along that line, if you have not recorded your living situation or provided your phone number, please fill that information out on your profile so that I can make the list. If you don't provide this information, please don't feel left out if you miss out on something fun. If anyone does need to cancel, you will be able to receive a full refund for any fees you may have paid. Please send me an email this week and I'll initiate the process. Have a great week, and I will see you all in August!

Don't have a full week of vacation available in August, but still want to come for a bit of On Holiday fun? No problem, the Mini-On Holiday is here to help. Developed by our skilled recreational scientists, the Mini-On Holiday gets you in to Lakeside for the opening weekend, so you can still connect with yout friends friends from the 2nd Wave, and make it to work for most of the next week. Here's a breakdown:

Some people may be wondering what that "msg board" link is in the top menu of this site. That link is meant to be a place where people can post comments and questions about On Holiday that they want to submit to the On Holiday community at large. You can use it to post things like "I need a place to stay, does anyone have a spot?" or "I have two openings in my cottage, can anyone take one?" or "We're planning on going to Cedar Point on Wednesday, anybody interested?" So that's what it's there for, to handle the various social engineering aspects of the vacation in an efficient manner.

Below is a table for singles that will help you figure out the maximum weekly rental rate you should be looking for given the number of roommates you expect to have, which will keep the individual lodging cost at $150, taking into account the rental tax and booking fee. For example, if you have 5 people you want to room with, and you want to keep the per person cost at $150, then you should look for cabins that are a maximum of $644/week.
